Description : Fruit driven wine.

Location of the vineyards : The vineyards are classified as Appellation Cotes du Rhone. Bounded on upper appellations,
Cotes du Rhone villages. Most of the vineyards are flat land and the soils are rich.

Age of Vine : 25 years
Soil type : limestone-clay

Climate, Topography and Soil types :
The latitude 44 degrees North, here is the typical Mediterranean climate characterized by theMaison Plantevin - AOP Cotes du Rhone - red strong local wind called “Mistral”(110km/h). The winter is cold and wet (the precipitation 700mm/annual). The summer is hot and dry. The total sunshine duration is long(2400h/annual ). The diurnal temperature difference is large, even 18 degrees Celsius difference in summer. The cooler nights keeps optimum acidity and the glared sunshine gives great maturity to the grapes. Our vineyards are spread out the foot of the Jurassic lime stone mountain “Dentelles de Montmirail (altitude 730m)”. Around the vineyards, the two of the tributary streams of Rhone river, l'Aigue and l'Ouvèze are flowing down from the Baronnies mountains. The soil types are vary from hillside to flatland (altitude 100-250m). they are consisted with alluvial molasses and sandy-clay soils with different types of gravels and pebbles. The ages of soils are from Miocene to Riss(250,000-23,000,000 years ago).

Viticultural aspects :
Our vineyards have been converting to the organic farming in 2009 and certified by ECOCERT France SAS since vintage 2014. In the vineyards, the season of the bud burst in March April through the veraison in August, we are attentive to manage the canopy and surface of soils. The grapes are reduced the yield to maximize the grape quality. The shoot thinning and the fruits thinning and the part of the toppings are practiced manually. All the grapes are selected and hand picked by our skilled harvesting team every year.

Making the Wine :
The grapes are all hand harvested, destemmed, crushed and transferred to the stainless steel tanks. The fermentation occurs by the indigenous yeast. The temperature is monitored and controlled between 20~25 degrees Celsius and the pump-over and delestage are repeated while the short maceration(1to2 weeks). The malolactic fermentation was completed. Free run wine dominated. The light pressed wine was added to obtain the body structure.

Tasting notes :
   Appearance: Clear ruby-red.
   Aroma profile: Luscious aromas of buds of cassis, ripe red fruits, blueberry, strawberry jam, prune. Touch of liquorice and mixed spices.
   Palate: Sweetness, Roundness, Supple tannins, balanced acidity, Medium long.

Food Accompaniment :
 Cheese-plate, white and red meats, tomato sauce with Provence herbs, Caesar salads, Pizzas, Pastas. Also many kinds of oriental foods.

Suitable temperature to drink :
   12~14 degrees (Summer)
   14~16 degrees (Winter)

Cellaring :  1~2 years.(fresh, fruity young wine with certain structure)
   3 years or more (soft tannin, less fruity, more complexity)

The vineyards have been classified as Appellation Cotes du Rhone Villages Séguret since 1967. The vineyards are at an altitude 150-200m, on the foot-hill of Jurassic limestone mountain, 'Dantelles de Montmirail'.

The temperature is monitored and controlled between 20~28 degrees and the pump-over and delestage are repeated while the maceration(2 to 4 weeks). After the alcohol fermentation finishes, the free run and pressed wine are stored separately, The batonage takes over to bring the depth to the wine. The malolactic fermentation is completed. CDRV Seguret use free run wine only.
Average Yield 35hl/ha

Tasting notes :
   Appearance: Clear, Deep ruby-red.
   Aroma profile:  Ripe red fruits, Cherries, Black currant, Jams.
   Palate:   Balanced acidity, Supple, Roundness,Velvety tannins and long after-taste.

Food Accompaniment : 
Goat cheeses, Ducks with sweet source, Red meats, Games.

Suitable temperature to drink :
   14~16 degrees (Summer)
   16~18 degrees (Winter)

”Le Vieux Couillon”: The name of the cuvée has been dedicated to, ”Justin”, the grand father of our winemaker and viticulturist Laurent PLANTEVIN, who called himself « le Vieux Couillon=an old twat». He was passed away during harvesting the grapes of Plan de Dieu vineyard for its very first vintage.

Location of the vineyards :
The vineyards are found at Alluvial vast terraces called “Bois de Dammes“ from the Riss(250,000-1,250,000). The soils are mixtures of the blue clay, the red sand and the calcareous gravels.
Thanks to the radiant heat of the gravels, the grapes of this flat and stony vineyard are first to matured among the all the our red varieties every year.

Soil type : Stony

The lees stirring take over after primary fermentation finished. The wine is aging in the stainless steel tanks. The malolactic fermentation is completed. CDRV Plan de Dieu use free run wine only.
The average yield are 35hL/ha.

”Ainsi font font font les petitis vignes”: is a parody lyrics of one of the faimous children's songs about marionettes composed by unknown in somewhere aroud 15th century in France. We named it to linked the comical movement of marionette and our busy work in the vineyards and winery also the radical developpement of the bud to the grain of grape on the vine tree.

Location of the vineyards :
The vineyards found on the rolling hills face to south-west. Relitivery rich soils of argilo-calcaireous mixed with limestone gravels.

Age of Vine : 20 years
Soil type : Stony

The shoot thinning and the fruits thinning and the part of the toppings and weedings are practiced manually. All the grapes are selected and hand picked by our skilled harvesting team every year.

Making the Wine :
Grapes are all hand harvested by Plantevin family and skilled harvesting team from Spain. Whole bunch grapes are directly transferred to the concrete tanks for the primary fermentation, Carbonic Maceration. The termes of the maceration is typically short 4 to 7 days. The pressed wine is go through malolactic fermentation.
The average yield are 35hL/ha.

   Appearance: Clear,light ruby-red.
   Aroma profile: Very fruity, Red fruits, Red currants
   Palate: Fruity, Fresh, light.

”Plan-plan”: The meaning of the cuvée is "Easygoing person" or "Cool person"in French. It was a nick name of Laurent when he was child. The portrait of Laurent on the label was drown by 5 year-old son. the cuvee was dedicated to Laurent who gives great effort to make beautiful grapes each year.

Location of the vineyards :
The vineyards are found at Alluvial vast terraces continuing of Plan de Dieu. Although appellation is defined as Cotes du Rhone Villages Sablet not Plan de Dieu. The unique charactor of this vineyard are contributed to unique charactor of wine. This vineyard has been joined to our production since 2018. The soils are mixtures of the blue clay, the red sand and the calcareous gravels. This vineyards are planted with Syrah mainly and you can see other Cotes du rhone grape varieties

Soil type : Stony

All the grapes are selected and hand picked by our skilled harvesting team every year.

Making the Wine :
Grapes are all hand harvested by Plantevin family and skilled harvesting team from Spain. The grapes are de-stemmed and transferred to the stainless steel tank for the primary fermentation. the fermentation occurs by the indigenous yests. The temperature is monitored and controlled under 25 °C . The pump-over and the lees stirring have performed during the maceration(14days). The wine is aging in the stainless steel tank for 3 months. The malolactic fermentation is completed. CDRV Sable No Sulfites added wine use free run wine only.
The average yield are 20hL/ha.

   Appearance: Clear, purple-red.
   Aroma profile: Complexity, Prune, Red berries.
   Palate: Roundness, Supple, Fruity.

AKA SAKA : Aka Saka signifies «Red hill» in Japanese. The cuvee was named after our winemaker and viticulturist Laurent PLANTEVINs' memorable souvenir in Japan.

Description : Ample, Thick and Robust

Location of the vineyards : The vineyards found on steep hillside at the foot of a Jurassic limestone mountain, “ Dentelles de Montmirail”, right next to appellation AOP Gigondas. The soils are consisted of argilo-calcaireous, with layered limestone from the Miocene. The sector of the vineyard called "Cheval Long", one of the best terror of Sablet village.

Les Premiers Pas de Nao : “The first steps of Nao” Nao is the name of the first child of our winemaker and viticulturist Laurent PLANTEVIN. Our first vintage of this wine has been released the year when he was born.

Description : Powerful body, elegance and complexity.

Location of the vineyards :
The vineyards has been classified as Cru - AOP Rasteau since 2010. One of the 16 Crus of Cotes du Rhone. Our vineyard of Rasteau spreds on the ancien terrasses, the foothill of Rasteau village.

Ages of vine : 10 years to 80 years
Soil type : limestone-clay.

Climate, Topography :
The latitude 44 degrees North, here is the typical Mediterranean climate characterized by the strong local wind called “Mistral”(110km/h). The winter is cold and wet (the precipitation 700mm/annual). The summer is hot and dry. The total sunshine duration is long(2400h/annual ). The diurnal temperature difference is large, even 18 degrees Celsius difference in summer. The cooler nights keeps optimum acidity and the glared sunshine gives great maturity to the grapes.

Viticultural aspects :
Our vineyards have been converting to the organic farming in 2009 and certified by ECOCERT France SAS since vintage 2014. In the vineyards, the season of the bud burst in March April through the veraison in August, we are attentive to manage the canopy and surface of soils. The grapes are reduced the yield to maximize the grape quality. The shoot thinning and the fruits thinning and the part of the toppings are practiced manually. All the grapes are selected and hand picked by our skilled harvesting team every year.

Making the Wine :
The grapes are all hand harvested. We use whole bunches of grapes in fermentation. The fermentation occurs by the indigenous yeast. The temperature is monitored and controlled between 25~28 degrees and the pump-over and delestage are repeated while the maceration(4 to 6 weeks). After the alcohol fermentation finishes, the free run and pressed wine are stored separately, The batonage takes over to bring the depth to the wine. The malolactic fermentation is completed. Aged in the new barrels for 4 to 8 months. AOP Rasteau use free run wine only.
Average Yield 25hl/ha

Tasting notes :
   Appearance : Clear brillant ruby-red.
   Aroma profile : ripe fruits, cherries, cafe, vanilla, fresh earth, spices.
   Palate : sweet, rich, round and Velvety tannins. Well balanced acidity and long after-taste.

Food Accompaniment :
Various cheeses, Red meats, Games.

Suitable temperature to drink :
   14~16 degrees(Summer)
   16~18 degrees(Winter)

Cellaring : more than 8 years

Making the wine :
All grapes are hand harvested and whole bunch pressed(Direct Press). The free run juice and the light pressed juice are stored together. The cold settled juice is racked off next day and inoculated with selected yeasts. During fermentation, the temperature is monitored and controlled between 10 to 14 degree Celsious. Stored in stainless steel tank.
No MLF.

Tasting notes :
   Appearance : Clear, Light gold.
   Aroma profile : Peaches, Pears, Tropical fruits, Minerally.
   Palate : well balanced acidity, fresh and Crisp.

Food Accompaniment :
roasted white fish or poultry with cream source

Suitable temperature to drink :   8~10 degrees.

Good to drink in 2 years.
